The Camden County Animal Shelter in Sewell also received its first delivery of dogs from Texas between Tuesday and Wednesday morning but not via plane. They were either delivered to or picked up by East Coast shelters from Delaware to Canada. Meanwhile, eight more Texas dogs, one mother cat and two kittens arrived Tuesday night at the Animal Welfare Association (AWA), also in Voorhees, from a group of 78 that arrived by plane in Morristown. The orphanage, which has space for 65 animals, has an animal control contract with 17 Camden County municipalities but also is an adoption center.
